Set in it’s own wooded valley in the heart of Scotland, Fingask Castle is an absolute hidden gem. It is a family-owned and operated castle with incredible grounds and a truly authentic feel.

Fingask Castle Wedding Venue

Fingask is filled with a sense of history and intrigue. What an incredible place to get married! Boasting one of Scotland’s great gardens, it is the ideal venue for those looking for an authentic, romantic castle setting for their wedding in Scotland. The ceremony room is

The oldest part of the castle dates back to the 16th Century, built by Partick Bruce in 1594. The Threipland family has owned the castle since 1968, although it’s been in the family on three other occasions in the last 400 years! Turbulent political situations, estate seizures and war have meant the estate has changed hands on numerous occasions, however it always seems to come back to the original owners, the Threiplands.

Couples can hold their ceremony within the castle, in the gardens or inside the Pavilion. There are many beautiful rooms within the castle and cottages on the grounds that can accommodate up to 70 guests. The permanent Pavilion is a large and versatile space and is located just a short walk from the castle through the incredible topiaries.

We loved spending the day with this lovely couple to capture their wedding, so many smiles and laughs! The traditional Sri Lankan drummers and dancers were incredible, too!
